Douglas Newby is an independent real estate brokerage representing buyers and sellers of Architecturally Significant Homes in Dallas. His competition is Compass, Briggs Freeman and Allie Beth Allman, firms with hundreds of agents each. He outranks all three on many of the Google searches they share. Our strategy was a multi-domain brand: a large flagship site that holds most of the keyword rankings, plus specific sites that each target a single keyword topic. That lets the same business take several spots on a single page of Google results, and the specific sites often outrank the flagship site on the keywords they cover, because a page about one thing beats a page about everything.
